Garlic has good medicinal properties and is more efficient when it is eaten raw. It is also useful in controlling high cholesterol levels. As raw garlic is very strong, eating too much could produce irritation to the digestive tract. So don’t eat too much of it.
Include garlic chutney with rice in lunch. This will kill all the worms in stomach thereby curing stomach infection too.
Mix garlic juice with salt and apply it on the affected area. This will get relief from sprain.
Make a cough syrup out of garlic. Take 1 whole garlic and slice them and boil with water. Then allow it to cool for overnight, then add sugar until you reach the consistency of a syrup. If you want add some honey[Honey is optional]. Have it twice a day.
To reduce obesity: Peeled ginger 50 gm Garlic 50 gm lemon juice 250 milli
Peel ginger chop into small pieces. Mix ginger, garlic with lemon juice and some salt and bring it to boil. Thenadd some ghee and have it with rice. This will reduce your obesity.
Indigestion and headache: White garlic 10 gm Black pepper 10 gm Dry ginger
Fry the whole black pepper for 2 minutes. Peel the ginger and garlic. Grind all these three with milk. Apply the paste on head and leave it for an hour and wash with warm water. Repeat it twice a day. This will get relief from headache due to indigestion.
White garlic peeled 50 gm
Grind the garlic to thick paste and then strain the residue. Add some jaggery with the paste and have it twice a day followed by little warm water. Follow this for 3 days which will get relif from cold.
It is said that its good medicine for reducing ear pain too. Heat oil and add some garlic. Let it cool and then put 2 drops of it in ear which will reduce the pain.
